We are the manufacturer of the iced coffee maker with lid. The lid is made of food-grade silicone, which connects tightly to the inner chamber. The connector and sleeve on the outer chamber are also made of food grade silicone.
The lid features a double wall, making it easy to fit into the mouth of inner chamber and connect tightly. Each part can be easily disassembled for cleaning and is dishwasher safe. The silicone connector is an innovative feature that won't deform when ice expands inside the chamber and pop open the connector. Both the lid and connector are thread-free, making them easy to pop in and remove for cleaning. The silicone sleeve on the outer chamber is patterned and designed to prevent frozen hands while adding a more attractive look.
In order to make the cooling effect visual and have specific data. We tested the cooling time of the coffee chiller while cooling hot coffee. We compared the results of shaking the coffee chiller versus not shaking it. The results clearly show that shaking the coffee chiller during the cooling period reduces the cooling time compared to not shaking it. It only takes 2 minutes to cool hot coffee down to 30℃/86℉. We recommend shaking for 30 seconds. If you prefer not to shake, just sit there for 5 minutes to achieve the same result. This shakeable chiller can also be used to cool cool room-temperature drinks, such as wine, sprite, juice, milkshakes, and even protein shakes or cocktails.
